Many of the pieces I create are commissioned pastels, that is they are images that are specifically ordered for a client. Sometimes a potential patron will see a piece they like but want something larger or smaller yet similar to the existing piece. Other times, a piece has already sold so a piece is created for a client that is similar though not identical. Sometimes I have photographed a client's property or other area or view that is special to them and create a piece based on that. The parameters of every commission are always different and always enjoyable.
